Naprowel 250

Naprowel 250 from Leeford contains naproxen, a widely used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It helps ease pain, swelling and stiffness from many common conditions.

• Joint pain in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
• Gout attacks
• Period pain and headache
• Muscle, back and dental pain
• Pain after minor injury

Naproxen blocks COX enzymes that produce prostaglandins, the chemicals that cause pain, fever and inflammation. Lowering prostaglandins reduces pain and swelling in injured or inflamed tissues.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with a full glass of water, ideally with or after food. Avoid lying down right after a dose to reduce stomach irritation.

• Nausea or loose stools
• Headache or dizziness
• Rash or itching
• Stomach ulcers or bleeding with prolonged use

Tell your doctor if you have ulcers, asthma, kidney, liver or heart disease, or high blood pressure. Avoid in late pregnancy. Do not combine with other NSAIDs or blood thinners without medical advice. Limit alcohol and use for the shortest time needed.

Store below 25°C in the original strip, protected from heat, light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
