Naprowel 500 10 tab

Naprowel 500 from Leeford is a higher-strength tablet of naproxen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used when stronger relief from pain and inflammation is needed.

• Moderate to severe arthritis pain
• Acute gout attacks
• Severe period pain
• Back and muscle pain
• Pain after injury or minor surgery

Naproxen blocks COX enzymes that make prostaglandins, the chemicals that cause pain, fever and inflammation. By lowering these, it reduces swelling, stiffness and pain in joints, muscles and tissues.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with a full glass of water, ideally with or after food. Do not break or chew the tablet.

• Stomach pain or heartburn
• Nausea or vomiting
• Headache or dizziness
• Fluid retention or raised blood pressure
• Stomach ulcers or bleeding with long use

Tell your doctor about any history of ulcers, asthma, kidney, liver or heart disease. Avoid in late pregnancy. Do not combine with other NSAIDs or blood thinners without medical advice. Limit alcohol and use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.

Store below 25°C in the original strip, protected from heat, light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
