Letroprime 2.5 5 tab

Letroprime 2.5 from Leeford is a letrozole tablet used mainly in hormone-sensitive breast cancer in women after menopause. It is also used by specialists for fertility treatment.

• Hormone receptor positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women
• Adjuvant therapy after breast cancer surgery
• Ovulation induction (specialist use)

Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor. It blocks the enzyme that makes estrogen in body tissues, lowering estrogen levels so hormone-driven cancer cells grow more slowly.

Swallow one tablet daily with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Try to take it at the same time each day, with or without food.

• Hot flushes and sweating
• Joint or muscle aches
• Tiredness, headache
• Hair thinning
• Bone thinning with long use

Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about liver disease, osteoporosis or heart problems and follow advice on bone health checks.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep the strip sealed and out of children's reach.
