Sumo Tablets from Alkem combine Nimesulide, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, with Paracetamol, a common pain and fever reducer. It is a prescription product used for short-term relief of pain and swelling.

• Body pain and headache
• Joint and muscle pain
• Pain after dental work or minor injury
• Fever with body ache

Nimesulide reduces the chemicals in the body that cause pain and swelling. Paracetamol acts on the brain centres that control pain signals and body temperature, so together they ease pain and bring down fever.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably after food to protect the stomach. Swallow the tablet whole with water and avoid mixing with alcohol.

• Drowsiness
• Skin rash in some users

Not advised for people with serious liver disease, active stomach ulcers or in pregnancy. Avoid in children unless a doctor advises. Tell your doctor about kidney or heart problems before use.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
