Estogen from Macmillon contains ethinylestradiol, a synthetic form of the female hormone estrogen. It is used in hormone-related conditions and in some contraceptive and replacement regimens.

Ethinylestradiol acts like the body's natural estrogen, binding to estrogen receptors. This helps regulate the menstrual cycle, support the uterine lining and, when combined with a progestogen, prevent ovulation.

Swallow whole with water at the same time each day, as prescribed by your doctor. Follow the cycle pattern your doctor sets exactly, and ask before stopping or skipping doses.

• Mood changes
• Headache
• Spotting between periods

Tell your doctor about blood clot history, smoking, high blood pressure, migraine with aura, liver disease, breast or hormone-sensitive cancers, or if pregnant or breastfeeding. Seek urgent care for chest pain, leg swelling, sudden severe headache or breathlessness.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, in the original strip, out of children's reach.
