Mitoxess 5 10 tab

Mitoxess 5 from Alusmed contains Minoxidil 5 mg as an oral tablet. Doctors sometimes prescribe low-dose oral Minoxidil for difficult-to-treat hair loss when topical options have not worked well.

Minoxidil widens small blood vessels and is thought to extend the growth phase of hair follicles. Better blood flow and longer growth phase together help thicken and strengthen new hair over a few months.

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water. Do not change the dose on your own. Hair changes usually take 3 to 6 months to show.

• Increased hair growth on face or body
• Ankle or leg swelling
• Fast heartbeat or palpitations
• Light-headedness
• Headache

Tell the doctor about any heart, kidney or blood pressure problems. Watch for sudden weight gain or breathlessness and report it. Not suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the doctor decides otherwise.

Store below 25°C in the original strip, away from moisture and sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
