Stimucor 5 5 tab

Stimucor 5 is a tablet containing letrozole, a medicine from the aromatase inhibitor group. It is used under specialist care for certain hormone-related conditions.

• Treating hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women
• Helping ovulation in selected women with infertility, as advised by a specialist

Letrozole lowers the amount of oestrogen the body makes by blocking the aromatase enzyme. With less oestrogen around, hormone-sensitive cancer cells grow more slowly, and in some women the ovaries respond by releasing an egg.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food at about the same time each day.

• Hot flushes and sweating
• Tiredness, headache or joint aches
• Nausea or mild hair thinning

Tell your doctor about any liver disease, osteoporosis or heart problems. Do not use if you are pregnant or could become pregnant during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25 C, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of children's reach.
