Betnovate N 20 gm

Betnovate N from GSK contains betamethasone, a potent corticosteroid, usually paired with neomycin, an antibiotic. It is used on inflamed skin where a bacterial infection is suspected.

• Infected eczema and dermatitis
• Inflamed rashes with bacterial involvement
• Steroid-responsive skin conditions with infection risk
• Insect bites with secondary infection

Betamethasone reduces inflammation, redness, and itch by quieting immune activity in the skin. Neomycin clears common bacteria on the skin surface so the inflamed area can heal.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before and after, unless treating the hands.

• Skin thinning with prolonged use
• Local allergic reaction

Avoid eyes, mouth, and large open wounds. Do not use for long stretches or over large areas. Mention pregnancy, breastfeeding, or any antibiotic allergy to your doctor.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep the tube closed and out of children's reach.
