Omnident from GP is a desensitising toothpaste with potassium nitrate that helps shield sensitive teeth from sharp pain triggers.

• Tooth sensitivity to cold, hot, sweet, or sour foods

Potassium nitrate calms the nerve endings inside the tooth by reducing their excitability, easing the sharp twinge that comes from hot or cold contact.

Brush twice a day with a soft brush for about two minutes. For lasting relief, use regularly rather than only during flare-ups.
