Emscab Lotion 100 ml

Emscab Lotion from Torrent contains Permethrin, a skin medicine used to treat scabies and lice infestations. It is applied on the body to clear the tiny mites that cause severe itching, especially at night.

• Treats scabies (mite infestation)
• Clears head lice and pubic lice
• Relieves itching caused by these parasites

Permethrin is a synthetic medicine that paralyses and kills mites and lice by acting on their nerve cells. Once the parasites die, the skin slowly heals and the itching settles over a few days.

Apply as prescribed by your doctor. Usually it is spread thinly over the whole body from neck down, left on for the time advised, then washed off. A second application after a week may be needed.

For external use only. Avoid eyes, mouth and broken skin. Treat all close family members together to stop re-infection. Wash clothes and bedsheets in hot water on the same day.
