Diplomax Lotion 25 ml

Diplomax Lotion from Leeford is a medicated skin lotion that combines a strong steroid with an antibiotic. It is typically used for short courses on inflamed skin conditions that also have a risk of bacterial infection.

• Inflamed, itchy or scaly skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis, when bacterial infection is suspected
• Skin problems where steroid plus antibiotic cover is needed, as advised

Clobetasol propionate is a potent corticosteroid that calms redness, swelling and itching by reducing the skin's inflammatory response. Gentamicin is an antibiotic that fights common skin bacteria. Together they tackle both the inflammation and the infection.

Use as prescribed by your doctor. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as advised, and wash your hands after, unless your hands are the area being treated.

• Burning, stinging or itching when first applied
• Skin thinning, stretch marks or pigment change with long use
• Increased hair growth on the area
• Rare allergic skin reaction

Not for use on the face, underarms or groin unless your doctor specifically advises it. Avoid covering treated skin with tight dressings unless told to. Do not use on broken, weeping or chickenpox-type skin without medical advice, and keep the course as short as possible.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius, away from heat and direct light. Keep the cap tight and out of reach of children.
