Nicosalic Lotion from KLM combines clobetasol, a very potent topical corticosteroid, with salicylic acid, a keratolytic agent. It is applied to the scalp or skin in conditions where thick, scaly plaques need both calming and softening.

• Chronic, scaly eczema patches

Clobetasol settles the inflammation and itching of the skin by quieting overactive immune cells. Salicylic acid loosens and lifts the thick layer of dead skin on top, helping the steroid reach the active patch underneath.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor, and wash hands after use. Do not use on the face, groin, or broken skin unless your doctor says so, and avoid covering with airtight bandages.

• Burning or stinging at the site
• Skin thinning with long use
• Dryness or peeling
• Folliculitis or pigment change

Use for the shortest time possible. Avoid in children, pregnancy, and on large body areas without medical advice. Stop and ask your doctor if the skin becomes more red, painful, or oozy.
