Betnovate S Oint 20 gm

Betnovate S Ointment from GSK combines betamethasone, a potent topical steroid, with salicylic acid, which softens and lifts thickened skin. It is used for scaly, thickened skin conditions like psoriasis.

• Psoriasis with thick, scaly patches
• Chronic eczema with hardened skin
• Hyperkeratotic skin disorders
• Lichen planus and similar conditions

Betamethasone calms inflammation, redness, and itch. Salicylic acid loosens the dead skin scale on top, so the steroid can reach the inflamed skin below and work more effectively.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Rub in gently and wash hands after, unless the hands are being treated.

Avoid the face, skin folds, and broken skin. Do not use over large areas or for long periods without review. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep the tube closed and away from children.
