About
Melalite Forte from Abbott contains hydroquinone, a skin-lightening agent. It is used to fade areas of darkened skin such as melasma, freckles and age spots.
Uses

How it works
Hydroquinone slows the activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme that helps make melanin in the skin. With regular use, less new pigment is formed and dark patches gradually fade.
How to take
Apply a thin layer only to the dark patches at night, as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands after use and apply sunscreen every morning.

Precautions
Avoid eyes, lips and broken skin. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use for longer than your doctor advises, as overuse can cause skin darkening.

Keep below 25 degrees Celsius, away from sunlight. Close the tube tightly after use and store out of reach of children.
