Melanocyl Ointment from Griffon contains methoxsalen, a psoralen used topically along with controlled UVA light for skin conditions like vitiligo.

Methoxsalen sensitises the treated skin to UVA light. Carefully timed UVA exposure then stimulates the pigment-producing cells in the patch.

Apply a thin layer on the affected patch as prescribed by your doctor, followed by supervised UVA exposure. Do not self-treat or expose treated skin to sunlight without guidance.

Avoid sunlight on the treated area for the period your doctor advises. Protect the area with clothing when going outdoors. Not for use during pregnancy without medical advice.
