Topisal Ointment from Systopic Laboratories pairs clobetasol propionate, a strong corticosteroid, with salicylic acid, a keratolytic that softens thickened skin. It is used for stubborn scaly skin conditions where ordinary creams fall short.

Clobetasol calms the immune activity in the skin, easing redness, itching and swelling. Salicylic acid loosens dead surface cells so the steroid can reach deeper layers and work better.

Apply a thin film to the affected area as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands before and after, and avoid healthy skin around the patch. Do not bandage unless told to.

Not meant for the face, underarms, groin or broken skin unless your doctor advises. Avoid use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical guidance. Long courses can affect hormones if absorbed.
