Tess Paste is a topical oral preparation from Troikaa Pharmaceuticals that contains triamcinolone acetonide, a corticosteroid designed to stick to moist surfaces inside the mouth and ease painful inflammation.

• Soothes painful mouth ulcers
• Calms inflammation of the gums and inner cheeks
• Helps with sore spots caused by dentures or braces

Triamcinolone acetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid that quietens the local immune response in the affected tissue, reducing swelling, redness and pain so the ulcer can heal more comfortably.

Apply a thin layer to the sore area as prescribed by your doctor, usually after meals and at bedtime. Dab gently without rubbing so the paste forms a protective film.

• Mild burning or stinging at the site
• Thinning of the mouth lining with long use
• Rarely, secondary fungal infection

Avoid using on untreated mouth infections. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if the ulcer does not improve within a week.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
