Tacroz Ointment 10 gm

Tacroz Ointment from Glenmark contains tacrolimus, a topical calcineurin inhibitor used to calm inflamed skin in eczema (atopic dermatitis). It comes in a 20 gm tube and is applied directly to affected areas.

• Moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema)
• Helpful when steroid creams are not suitable

Tacrolimus quiets the overactive immune cells in the skin that drive redness, itching, and flare-ups, easing inflammation without thinning the skin the way long-term steroids can.

Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin as prescribed by your doctor. Wash hands after use unless treating the hands. Avoid covering with tight bandages unless advised.

• Itching or redness early in treatment
• Increased sensitivity to sun

Tell your doctor if you have skin infections, are pregnant, or nursing. Avoid strong sunlight and tanning beds on treated areas. Do not use on broken or infected skin.

Keep below 25°C in the original tube, tightly closed, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
