Picon 1 % Cream 10 gm

Picon Cream from Eris Lifesciences contains Pimecrolimus, a topical calcineurin inhibitor used to calm flare-ups of eczema (atopic dermatitis) without the use of steroids. It is often prescribed for sensitive areas like the face and skin folds where steroid creams can be tricky to use.

• Mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema)
• Flare-ups on the face, neck or skin folds as advised by your doctor
• Short or intermittent use to settle itching and redness

Pimecrolimus calms over-active immune cells in the skin that drive the redness, swelling and itching of eczema. By dialling down this immune signal, the skin gets a chance to settle and heal.

Apply a thin layer to affected skin twice a day, or as advised by your doctor. Wash hands after applying, unless your hands are the area being treated.

• Burning or warmth at the site for a short time
• Mild itching or redness
• Skin irritation, especially in the first few days
• Sensitivity to sun in the treated area

Do not use on broken, infected or cancerous skin. Avoid strong sun and tanning beds on treated areas — use sunscreen or cover up. Not for long-term continuous use. Tell your doctor if you have a weakened immune system or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Close the tube tightly and keep out of reach of children.
