Product information
About
Ibglow Skin Lightening Cream from Linux Laboratories contains Hydroquinone with Glycolic Acid. It is used on a doctor's advice to lighten dark facial patches and even out skin tone.
Uses
- Melasma and chloasma
- Sun-induced dark spots
- Patchy facial pigmentation
How it works
Hydroquinone slows down the skin cells that produce melanin, the natural pigment, which gradually lightens dark patches. Glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates the upper skin layer, helping the cream work better and giving a smoother finish.
How to apply
Apply as prescribed by your doctor. Usually a small amount is spread thinly over the dark patches once at night on clean, dry skin. A broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day is a must.
Side effects
- Mild burning or tingling
- Redness and dryness
- Peeling of the treated area
- Increased sun sensitivity
Precautions
Avoid the eyes, lips, nostrils and broken skin. Not advised in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the doctor decides otherwise. Do a small patch test first. Limit total duration of use as advised.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the tube tightly closed and out of reach of children.
