Nucoxia MR

Nucoxia MR from Zydus combines Etoricoxib, a selective COX-2 anti-inflammatory, with Thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant. It is often prescribed when joint pain comes with strong muscle spasm such as back pain or stiff neck.

• Neck stiffness and torticollis
• Painful joint conditions with muscle tightness
• Sprains and ligament strains

Etoricoxib blocks the COX-2 enzyme that creates pain and swelling chemicals, easing joint and tissue inflammation. Thiocolchicoside acts on muscle nerves in the spinal cord to relax tight, painful muscles, so both pain and stiffness reduce together.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably after food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Use it for the shortest course that controls symptoms.

• Loose motions
• Headache or dizziness

Tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, ulcers, liver or kidney problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid driving if you feel sleepy and skip alcohol while on treatment.

Keep below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep the strip in its pack and out of reach of children.
