Ethamcip 500

Ethamcip 500 from Cipla contains ethamsylate, a medicine used to reduce bleeding by helping small blood vessels and platelets do their job better.

• Heavy menstrual bleeding
• Bleeding from small blood vessels (capillary bleeding)
• Bleeding after minor surgical procedures (as advised)

Ethamsylate works on the lining of small blood vessels and supports platelet function, helping the body form a stable plug at the site of bleeding. This reduces the amount and duration of bleeding.

Swallow whole with water, usually with or after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Complete the course your doctor suggests, even if bleeding seems to settle quickly.

• Nausea
• Headache
• Skin rash
• Mild stomach upset
• Fever (uncommon)

Tell your doctor about asthma, low blood pressure, porphyria, blood clotting issues, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Mention any blood thinners or NSAIDs you take. Seek help if bleeding worsens or new bruising appears.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, in the original strip, out of children's reach.
