Omnigel from Cipla is one of India's most familiar pain-relief gels. It combines diclofenac (an anti-inflammatory) with menthol, methyl salicylate and linseed oil to ease muscle and joint pain right where it hurts.

Diclofenac reduces the pain-causing chemicals (prostaglandins) at the site, while menthol gives a cooling soothe and methyl salicylate adds a gentle warming effect to relax the area.

Apply a small amount (about 2–4 cm) on clean, dry skin over the painful area and massage gently until absorbed, 2–3 times a day. Wash hands after use and avoid washing the area for an hour.

• Stop use if a rash appears

For external use only — never on cuts, wounds or infected skin, and away from eyes and mouth. Ask a doctor before use in children under 12, during pregnancy (especially the last trimester), while breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs. Do not bandage tightly over the gel.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry, dark place, away from children.
