Catheter 16

This is a size 16 Fr urinary catheter from Urocath, a flexible tube used by trained healthcare workers to drain urine from the bladder.

• Draining urine when natural passing is not possible
• Support during and after surgical procedures
• Management of urinary retention under medical guidance

The catheter is gently inserted through the urethra into the bladder. Urine flows through the tube into a collection bag, helping empty the bladder safely.

To be inserted only by a doctor, nurse or trained caregiver, using sterile technique as advised by your healthcare provider.

• Mild burning or discomfort
• Risk of urinary tract infection
• Slight irritation or bleeding in some users

Do not reuse if marked single use. Maintain hygiene around the insertion site. Inform your doctor of fever, pain or blood in urine. Use only the size recommended for the patient.

Keep in the sealed pack at room temperature, in a clean and dry place until use.
