About
Nucoxia 120 from Zydus is a pain and inflammation tablet containing Etoricoxib. It belongs to the selective COX-2 inhibitor group of anti-inflammatory medicines and is often prescribed for acute gout attacks and severe arthritis pain.

How it works
Etoricoxib blocks an enzyme called COX-2 that the body uses to make chemicals which cause pain, swelling and redness. By reducing these chemicals, joint pain and stiffness ease, and movement gets easier.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Use it for the shortest time needed.

Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver trouble, ulcers, or are pregnant. Avoid alcohol and do not mix with other painkillers without advice.
