Scalp vein set 24 no

The Romsons scalp vein set in 24 gauge is a very fine, sterile, single-use IV needle device. The 24 G size is often chosen for infants, small children or adults with very fragile veins.

A very fine winged needle is placed into a small vein by a trained person and connected to IV tubing. This allows controlled flow of fluids or medicines into the bloodstream through small or fragile vessels.

For use by trained healthcare staff only, following sterile technique. Open the pack just before use, secure carefully on the skin and dispose of in a sharps bin right after the procedure.

• Mild pain or bruising at the site
• Redness or swelling near the vein
• Rare infection if sterility is not maintained

For single use only. Do not recap, bend or re-use the needle. Discard in a sharps container after use.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the pack sealed until use and out of reach of children.
