The device uses the oscillometric method — the cuff inflates, then deflates while the sensor captures the small pressure waves from your pulse and converts them into systolic, diastolic and heart-rate values on screen.

Refer to the user manual — sit relaxed for five minutes, rest your arm on a table at heart level, wrap the cuff above the elbow and press the start button. Take readings at the same time daily for consistency.
