The Accu-Chek Active is a compact home blood glucose meter from Roche. It is one of the most familiar diabetes machines in Indian homes, valued for its simple buttons, clear display and quick results.

The meter pairs with Accu-Chek Active test strips. A small drop of blood from your fingertip reacts with an enzyme on the strip, producing a tiny electrical signal that the meter converts into a sugar reading on its screen in seconds.

Insert a fresh strip, prick a clean fingertip with a lancet, and touch the blood drop to the strip. The meter beeps and shows your reading. Note it in a diary or app and share with your doctor at follow-up visits.

Use only with Accu-Chek Active strips. Calibrate the meter as per the user manual. Change lancets each time to avoid infection. Always confirm sudden very high or very low readings with a repeat test before acting on them.

Keep the meter in its case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, dust and moisture. Remove batteries if not used for long periods. Keep out of reach of children.
