Justin 12.5 mg from Neon is a Diclofenac suppository, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) used to relieve pain, swelling and fever in adults and children.
Uses
- Pain and inflammation in joints and muscles
- Post-operative and dental pain
- Fever and pain in selected paediatric cases (as prescribed)
How it works
Diclofenac blocks the COX enzymes that make prostaglandins — chemicals that drive pain, fever and inflammation. By lowering these, it eases discomfort and swelling.
How to take
Use as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands, remove the wrapper and gently insert into the rectum, pointed end first. Stay lying down for a few minutes after insertion.
Side effects
- Stomach upset, nausea or indigestion
- Headache or dizziness
- Rectal irritation or burning
- Rarely, stomach ulcers, kidney or liver problems
Precautions
Tell your doctor about asthma, stomach ulcers, kidney, liver or heart problems, high blood pressure, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid combining with other NSAIDs or blood thinners unless advised. Limit alcohol.
Storage
Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
