Nestogen 2 from Nestle is a follow-up infant formula for babies aged 6 to 12 months. It is meant to be given alongside complementary foods when babies start eating solids.

The formula is adjusted for older infants whose nutritional needs are higher than newborns. It provides protein, iron, calcium, vitamins and essential nutrients that complement the family foods baby is starting to eat.

Prepare and feed as advised by your paediatrician and as instructed on the pack. Always use sterilised bottles, freshly boiled cooled water and the scoop provided. Throw away any unfinished feed within an hour.

• Rarely, allergy in sensitive babies

Breastfeeding should continue along with formula whenever possible. Use only on medical advice and follow mixing instructions exactly. Do not switch formulas without checking with the doctor.

Store the unopened tin in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Once opened, keep tightly closed and use within the time mentioned on the pack. Keep out of reach of children.
