Indocap from Jagsonpal contains indomethacin, a strong non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine used for painful joint and inflammatory conditions.

• Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Acute gout attacks and other inflammatory pain

Indomethacin blocks enzymes called COX-1 and COX-2 that the body uses to make pain and swelling chemicals (prostaglandins). Less of these means less pain, stiffness and swelling.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or after food and a full glass of water to protect the stomach.

• Stomach pain, indigestion or nausea
• Headache or dizziness
• Risk of stomach ulcers or bleeding
• Fluid retention or raised blood pressure

Avoid in active stomach ulcers, severe kidney or heart problems and in the late stages of pregnancy. Tell your doctor about blood thinners, steroids, lithium or other NSAIDs. Use the lowest helpful dose for the shortest time.

Store below 25 degrees C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
