Product information
About
Tramazac P from Zydus pairs tramadol, a centrally acting opioid analgesic, with paracetamol, a familiar pain and fever reliever. The combination is used for moderate pain where one medicine alone is not enough.
Uses
- Moderate musculoskeletal or back pain
- Post-surgical or dental pain
- Acute injury pain
How it works
Tramadol attaches to opioid receptors in the brain and boosts serotonin and noradrenaline, dampening pain signals. Paracetamol acts on pain pathways in the brain to lower pain perception and fever. The two medicines tackle pain through different routes for a smoother effect.
How to take
Swallow the tablet whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Take it with food if it upsets your stomach and avoid using extra paracetamol from other products at the same time.
Side effects
- Nausea, vomiting or constipation
- Drowsiness or dizziness
- Dry mouth or sweating
- Headache

This is a Schedule X medicine and can be habit-forming, so use only under medical supervision. Avoid alcohol and other sedatives. Tell your doctor about liver, kidney, seizure or breathing problems and any antidepressants you take. Not for use in pregnancy, breastfeeding or young children unless specifically advised.
