Tramazac 10 caps

Tramazac from Zydus contains tramadol, a centrally acting opioid analgesic. The capsule form is used for moderate to moderately severe pain that does not respond to simple painkillers.

• Moderate to severe musculoskeletal pain
• Post-operative or post-injury pain
• Pain after dental procedures

Tramadol binds to opioid receptors in the brain and also boosts serotonin and noradrenaline in nerve pathways. The dual action reduces the perception of pain along two complementary routes.

Swallow the capsule whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Taking it with food can reduce nausea. Do not double up if a dose is missed.

• Drowsiness or dizziness
• Dry mouth or sweating
• Headache

This is a Schedule X medicine and can be habit-forming, so use exactly as advised. Avoid alcohol and other sedatives. Inform your doctor about kidney, liver, seizure or breathing problems, and any antidepressants you take. Not suitable in pregnancy, breastfeeding or young children unless specifically advised.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place. Keep the strip in its carton, away from children.
