Ecosprin 75 14 tab

Ecosprin 75 from USV is a low-dose aspirin tablet (75 mg) from the salicylate antiplatelet class. It is commonly prescribed for daily long-term use to reduce the risk of clot-related cardiovascular events.

• Prevention of heart attack and ischaemic stroke in at-risk adults
• Maintenance therapy after a cardiac event, angioplasty or stent
• Other antiplatelet uses as advised by your doctor

Aspirin permanently inhibits the cyclooxygenase enzyme in platelets, cutting down thromboxane A2 production. With less of this signal, platelets clump together less easily, lowering the chance of clots in narrowed arteries.

Swallow with water, ideally after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop on your own — especially after a stent or recent heart event — without first checking with your physician.

• Indigestion, heartburn or nausea
• Easy bruising or longer bleeding from cuts
• Stomach irritation or rare gastric bleeding

Share any history of ulcers, asthma, bleeding tendency, kidney or liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding with your doctor. Avoid combining with other blood thinners or NSAIDs without advice. Seek urgent care for black stools, vomiting blood or sudden severe headache.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
