Ecosprin 150 14 tab

Ecosprin 150 from USV contains low-dose aspirin (150 mg), a salicylate-class medicine widely used as an antiplatelet to lower the risk of clot-related heart and brain events. Each strip carries 14 tablets for daily long-term use.

• Prevention of heart attack and ischaemic stroke in at-risk adults
• Secondary prevention after a cardiac event or stenting
• Other clot-prevention uses as advised by your cardiologist

Aspirin irreversibly blocks the cyclooxygenase enzyme in platelets, reducing the production of thromboxane A2. This makes platelets less sticky and lowers the chance of harmful blood clots forming inside arteries.

Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice, especially after a recent cardiac event or stent placement.

• Stomach upset, heartburn or nausea
• Easy bruising or longer bleeding from cuts
• Gastric irritation or, rarely, stomach bleeding

Tell your doctor about ulcers, asthma, bleeding disorders, kidney or liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid combining with other blood thinners or NSAIDs without advice. Stop and seek care if you notice black stools, vomiting blood or sudden severe headache.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
