Meftal P from Blue Cross is a paediatric strength mefenamic acid tablet. The P stands for paediatric and the lower strength is suited to children under medical guidance.
Uses
- Fever in children
- Mild pain such as toothache or earache

How it works
Mefenamic acid lowers the production of prostaglandins, the natural chemicals that drive fever and pain. With fewer of these messengers, the child's temperature comes down and discomfort eases.
How to take
Give the tablet with food and water exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Stick to the dose and frequency advised and do not combine with other NSAIDs at home.

Precautions
