About
Tapendol from VHL contains tapentadol, a centrally acting opioid analgesic used for moderate to severe pain. This is the higher-strength version, supplied as a strip of 10 tablets, prescription only.
Uses

How it works
Tapentadol activates mu-opioid receptors in the brain to dull pain signals and also boosts noradrenaline, which further calms pain pathways travelling through the spinal cord.
How to take
Swallow whole with water as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush or split. Avoid alcohol and do not exceed the dose advised.
Side effects
- Nausea, vomiting, or constipation
- Drowsiness or dizziness
- Dry mouth, sweating
- Risk of dependence with prolonged use
Precautions
