Pruzin 25 15 tab

Pruzin 25 from VHL is a prescription tablet containing Hydroxyzine, a first-generation antihistamine with calming properties. It is commonly used for itching and short-term anxiety.

• Itching due to allergy or skin conditions
• Hives (urticaria)
• Short-term anxiety and restlessness
• Itching with mild eczema
• As pre-medication before some procedures, as advised

Hydroxyzine blocks the action of histamine, the chemical that causes itching and allergic skin reactions. It also has a mild calming effect on the brain, which helps in anxiety and sleeplessness linked to itching.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water. Because it can cause drowsiness, doctors often suggest taking it at night.

• Drowsiness
• Dry mouth
• Blurred vision
• Headache
• Mild constipation

Avoid driving or operating machinery after the dose. Do not mix with alcohol. Tell the doctor about glaucoma, prostate enlargement, heart rhythm problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Not recommended in very young children unless prescribed.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
