Tetmosol Soap from Piramal is a medicated bathing soap containing monosulfiram, used to help control scabies and the itching that comes with it.

Monosulfiram is a scabicidal agent that acts on the mites responsible for scabies. Lathered over the body during bathing, it helps reduce mite activity on the skin so the rash and itching can ease.

Wet the body, lather the soap over the skin and leave for a short while before rinsing, as prescribed by your doctor. Use regularly during the treatment period.

• Occasional rash or irritation

Avoid drinking alcohol during use, as the combination can cause flushing, headache and palpitations. Keep out of the eyes and stop use if irritation develops.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep out of reach of children.
