Tramadin Injection from Mankind contains tramadol, a centrally acting opioid analgesic. The injectable form is used in clinical settings for moderate to severe pain when rapid relief is needed or oral dosing is not possible.

• Moderate to severe post-surgical pain
• Severe injury pain
• Severe musculoskeletal or cancer-related pain

Tramadol binds weakly to opioid receptors in the brain and also increases serotonin and noradrenaline activity in pain pathways. The combined action blunts how strongly pain signals reach the brain.

This injection is given only by a qualified healthcare professional, into a muscle or a vein as prescribed by your doctor. Dosing is judged on pain severity and your response.

• Nausea, vomiting or constipation
• Drowsiness or dizziness
• Sweating or dry mouth
• Slowed breathing in higher doses

This is a Schedule X medicine with potential for dependence and is used under close supervision. It should be avoided with alcohol, sedatives or certain antidepressants because of seizure and serotonin syndrome risk. Tell your doctor about kidney, liver, lung or seizure problems. Not for use in pregnancy, breastfeeding or young children unless specifically advised.
