Mucopain Gel 15 gm

Mucopain Gel from ICPA Health Products contains benzocaine, a local anaesthetic of the ester group. The gel is used to numb sore areas inside the mouth.

• Mouth ulcers and aphthous sores
• Teething discomfort in older children (as advised)
• Sore gums and minor dental pain
• Irritation from braces or dentures

Benzocaine blocks the tiny nerve signals from the painful area to the brain, so the spot feels numb and discomfort eases for a short while.

Dry the area with a clean cloth. Place a small amount on the sore spot with a clean fingertip as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid eating or drinking right after.

• Allergic rash (rare)

Not for use in infants without medical advice. Avoid swallowing large amounts. Stop and consult a doctor if redness or swelling worsens.
