Product information
About
Cipzen-D from Cipla pairs Diclofenac, a non-steroidal pain reliever, with Serratiopeptidase, an anti-inflammatory enzyme. It is used for short-term relief of pain and swelling together.
Uses
- Pain and swelling after injury or surgery
- Joint and muscle inflammation
- Dental and ENT pain with swelling
How it works
Diclofenac blocks chemicals called prostaglandins that signal pain and inflammation, while Serratiopeptidase thins the fluid and dead tissue at the inflamed site so swelling drains faster. Together they ease pain and reduce puffiness.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, with food or just after a meal to protect the stomach. Swallow whole with water — do not crush the tablet.
Side effects
- Stomach pain, acidity
- Nausea, indigestion
- Headache, dizziness
- Mild bleeding tendency
- Skin rash (rare)
Precautions
Tell your doctor about ulcers, asthma, kidney or liver issues, heart disease, blood-thinner use, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol. Use for the shortest time possible and not on an empty stomach.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight and out of children's reach.
