Ecosprin Gold 10

Ecosprin Gold 10 from USV is a triple-action capsule containing atorvastatin 10 mg, aspirin 75 mg and clopidogrel 75 mg. It combines a statin with two antiplatelet agents — a salicylate and a thienopyridine — for high-risk cardiovascular care.

Atorvastatin lowers LDL cholesterol by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase in the liver. Aspirin blocks platelet cyclooxygenase, reducing thromboxane A2. Clopidogrel irreversibly blocks the platelet P2Y12 ADP receptor. Together they reduce platelet activation by different pathways and stabilise plaques.

Swallow the capsule whole with water, usually at night with or after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop suddenly, especially after a stent, without first checking with your cardiologist.

Tell your doctor about active ulcers, bleeding disorders, planned surgery or dental work, liver disease, asthma, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report black stools, vomiting blood, sudden severe headache, unexplained bruising, muscle pain or jaundice. Avoid combining with other blood thinners or NSAIDs without advice.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
