Ecosprin AV 150/20

Ecosprin AV 150/20 from USV combines atorvastatin 20 mg with aspirin 150 mg in a single capsule. The pairing of a statin and a salicylate antiplatelet supports cardiovascular protection by tackling cholesterol and clot risk together.

Atorvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, lowering LDL and helping stabilise plaques. Aspirin permanently blocks platelet cyclooxygenase, decreasing thromboxane A2 so platelets are less likely to clump into clots.

Swallow the capsule whole with water, typically at night with or after food, as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid heavy grapefruit intake and do not stop on your own without medical advice.

Inform your doctor about liver disease, ulcers, bleeding disorders, asthma, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report unexplained muscle pain, weakness, dark urine, jaundice, black stools or vomiting blood. Avoid combining with other antiplatelets or NSAIDs without medical advice.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
