About this test
The AntiDNase-B (DNB) test measures the level of antibodies produced by the body against an enzyme called DNase B, which is made by Streptococcus bacteria. This test helps detect a recent or past streptococcal infection, especially when the infection has led to complications such as rheumatic fever or kidney inflammation (post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis).
