About this test
Inflammation of the liver is known as hepatitis and is caused by different infectious viruses and non-infectious agents. Hepatitis panel covers a series of tests that help detect the infection. Individuals noticing symptoms like abdominal pain, dark-colored urine, jaundice, vomiting, weight loss, fatigue or general itching should get this test done. Hepatitis check is recommended for individuals at risk of hepatitis A, B, C or E. This test helps understand the current or past infections, the level of contagiousness and whether they have caused liver damage.
