About this test
The TSH Receptor Antibodies (TRAb) test detects antibodies that target the thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) receptor. These antibodies can interfere with normal thyroid function and are commonly seen in autoimmune thyroid disorders, especially Graves – disease, which causes hyperthyroidism. The test helps in diagnosing Graves' disease and monitoring its treatment.
